Steve has been helping people to get their careers moving since 1992. He’s a published career columnist in the Pioneer Press newspaper and the Daily Herald. He has worked in both private practice and in affiliation with a national career counseling organization, personally assisting over 700 people in improving their careers.
Steve has also helped numerous clients to win better salary packages as a salary negotiations coach. He has presented numerous workshops to audiences in many settings. The workshops he presents include: How to Gain an [Almost] Unfair Competitive Edge in Job Interviewing; How to Make $1,000 A Minute: Negotiating Salaries and Raises; The New Millennium Network Marketing Campaign; Death to Boring Resumes.
Steve holds a masters degree in Public Administration. Prior to his career work, Steve’s background includes work in all three sectors: government, nonprofit and for profit. Besides his private sector work in computer training and career work, he has been a Legislative Assistant in the Wisconsin State Legislature, as well as the Executive Director of the Chicago Area Committee on Occupational Safety and Health.
